Kenneth Kaunda

The cover of the book of his letters to the Rev Colin Morris, who was one of his mentors in the pre-Independence years. Colin, like Merfyn Temple, was a defender of and fighter for social causes, and particularly for racial equality. He was not popular with many white people on the Copperbelt, but he fought on.

The front and inside of the menu for the dinner/ official launching of the book in 1966.

The cover of Kaunda's booklet, officially published by the Government in 1967.

The front cover of the first Manifesto and Policy of the United National Independence Party. I reckon a few university libraries and specialist booksellers would love to get their hands on this document!

The first page of the book.
